Medical Device Systems Integration Engineer

Our client, a leader in the medical device development industry, is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to join their team. As a Senior Systems Engineer, you will be part of the R&D department supporting innovative projects in healthcare technology. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, collaborative spirit, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Senior Systems Engineer Location: Bellevue, WA. HYBRID. Duration: 12 months with the possibility of extension/conversion Pay Range: $76.75/hr w2 What's the Job? Evaluate system integration points and lead planning and testing activities across complex medical device ecosystems. Develop and execute comprehensive verification and validation test plans to ensure system performance, safety, and security. Create system models, perform risk analyses, and develop mitigation strategies for end-to-end systems. Collaborate with development teams to analyze system performance, reliability, and data integrity from device data collection to cloud processing. Serve as a subject matter expert in applying systems engineering standards and best practices throughout the product lifecycle. What's Needed? Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical, Biomedical, Computer, or Systems Engineering, or related fields. 5+ years of experience in systems engineering, particularly with connected medical devices or complex integrated systems. Proficiency in automation, scripting (Python preferred), and familiarity with CI/CD tools like Azure DevOps. Strong debugging skills and experience with hardware and software troubleshooting. Knowledge of medical device regulations, quality systems, and data privacy standards. What's in it for me?
