Emergency Veterinarian

We are currently seeking Emergency Doctors to join our team at Animal Emergency & Referral Associates (AERA) in West Caldwell, New Jersey. The Role Our Emergency Doctors manage inpatient cases, triage incoming patients, and handle lacerations, basic wounds, urinary obstructions, and enucleations. Our doctors also have the option to cut and can train in surgery as well as endoscopic foreign body removal, if they are interested. The Schedule Three 12‑hour shifts per week, rotating shifts (four shifts per week for new graduates in the mentorship program). Shifts are: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM, 12:00 PM – 12:00 AM and 8:00 PM – 8:00 AM. Includes an average of two weekends per month and four holidays per year. Salary and Benefits Competitive salary ranging from $180,000 to $220,000, commensurate with experience, plus production. Up to $15,000 Sign‑On Bonus. Up to $10,000 Retention Bonus. No non‑compete.
