Software Support Specialist

Catholic Charities of the Diocese of La Crosse is hiring a Journeys Support Specialist to serve the southern region of Wisconsin (Madison and surrounding counties). This position will be responsible for planning, promoting, and coordinating activities and services for Wisconsin families impacted by adoption or out-of-home care, in accordance with program contracts. Responsibilities include organization and facilitation of family fun events, support groups, and/or networking opportunities for both caregivers and youth; extensive outreach to relevant community organizations and resources throughout the region; and provision of support and referrals to individuals and families. Some evenings and weekends will be required for family events (about twice/month, on average). This is a 20 hours/week hybrid position with regular travel and outreach throughout the region required. The beginning salary is expected to range between $22-28/hour, but will vary based on education and years of experience. Background check, driver’s license, reliable transportation, driving record check, and proof of auto insurance are required for this position. Qualifications Education – College degree in social work, human services or education preferred.
