SERVPRO of Peoria is looking for a Construction Superintendent! This position is a salaried position working year-round helping homeowners and businesses recover from damage to their structures caused by water, fire, or other damages. The Construction Superintendent is responsible for the day-to-day management of construction projects. They are responsible for delivering a high quality of service in all dealings with customers, clients, subcontractors, resource providers, and company employees involved in performing construction services.

Primary responsibilities include compiling and resolving punch list items, performing final walk-throughs with customers, securing signed completion and satisfaction certificates, conducting pre-construction meetings, providing project updates, scheduling subcontractors and material suppliers, ensuring compliance with plans and codes, documenting project activities, executing change orders, setting project expectations, maintaining quality standards, evaluating vendors and subcontractors, coordinating inspections, ensuring material delivery, validating schedules, identifying scope deviations, and executing roles of the Construction Coordinator.

Education and experience requirements include a high school diploma or GED, a superb customer service track record, effective written and oral communication, basic math skills, and experience in restoration and/or construction preferred.

Physical and work environment requirements involve walking and/or standing throughout the day, frequent driving and sitting, occasionally climbing ladders, exposure to extreme conditions such as heat, and loud noise levels at jobsites.

This is a full-time position working 7:30 a.m. to 4:15 p.m., Monday–Friday, 40+ hours per week. This position frequently requires long hours, on-call, and weekend work. A rotational on-call is required for after-hours, weekend, and holiday emergency services. Travel is required and is primarily local. However, some out-of-area and overnight travel may be expected. Compensation: $47,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year.
