Architect for CAD & Construction Documentation [Remote]

Produce precise architectural and engineering CAD documentation for a customer project, delivered remotely as an independent contractor. This role focuses on generating high-quality floor plans, elevation sets, CAD drawings, GD&T callouts, multi-sheet electrical schematics, and PCB layouts. Your domain expertise will also be used to create training inputs that help next-generation AI systems learn and reason, no prior AI experience required.

• Create detailed floor plans and elevation sets that follow project requirements.
• Develop comprehensive 2D and 3D CAD drawings for architectural and engineering use.
• Prepare accurate Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing, GD&T, callouts for manufacturing documentation.
• Produce and annotate multi-sheet electrical schematics to industry standards.
• Design and review PCB layouts, applying best practices for manufacturability and functionality.
• Collaborate through exchanges to clarify requirements and resolve technical questions.
• Deliver complete documentation packages aligned with project milestones and quality expectations.
• Contribute subject-matter expertise that will be used to train and evaluate AI systems.

• Minimum of 3 years of recent experience in architectural CAD and construction documentation.
• Required skills include floor plans, elevation sets, CAD drawings, GD&T callouts, multi-sheet electrical schematics, and PCB layouts.
• Proficiency with industry-standard 2D/3D CAD tools and PCB layout design software.
• Proven ability to generate and interpret GD&T callouts and complex schematic diagrams.
• Experience developing multi-sheet electrical schematics and integrating PCB layouts within building projects.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills for managing multi-document sets.
• Advanced English communication skills.
• Experience collaborating on remote, cross-functional projects is a plus.
