Client Overview Our client is a forward-thinking organization focused on innovation, growth, and operational excellence. Salary / Hourly Rate $50/hr - $55/hr Position Overview The Senior Accountant is responsible for supporting the organization's financial operations through accurate reporting, general ledger management, and compliance with accounting standards. This role plays a key part in the monthly close process, financial analysis, and process improvements, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure financial integrity. Responsibilities of the Senior Accountant Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Lead or support the month-end and year-end close process. Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts. Analyze financial data and provide insights to support decision-making. Ensure compliance with GAAP (or applicable standards such as IFRS). Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities. Coordinate with auditors during internal and external audits. Review and improve accounting processes and internal controls. Mentor junior accounting staff and review their work. Support special projects, system implementations, or process improvements. Required Experience / Skills for the Senior Accountant 4-7+ years of progressive accounting experience. Strong knowledge of GAAP (or IFRS if applicable). Experience with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, or similar). Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Preferred Experience / Skills for the Senior Accountant CPA or progress toward certification preferred. Education Requirements Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
