Senior Staff Accountant
Boston, MA
– 4 days onsite, 1 day remote
Role Summary
In this role you will report directly to the Assistant Corporate Controller and will take ownership of reporting costs, productivity, margins and expenditure for the company. You will also have significant interaction with other members of the Accounting, Finance and Operations teams.
Responsibilities:
- Participate in monthly financial statement preparation
- Maintain and reconcile key general ledger accounts
- Coordinate with Treasury Analyst to ensure all daily cash activity is recorded
- Prepare Intercompany billings
- Generate various monthly corporate allocations
- Prepare and file monthly sales and use tax filings
- Participate in annual audit preparation and analyses
- Ad hoc reporting and analysis as needed
- Participate in monthly system closes
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in an Accounting role or similar
- Skills with General Ledger, working knowledge of GAAP Accounting Principles
- Experience with Oracle
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting. Advanced degree a plus
