Registered Nurse (RN), Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Job Type: Full-Time | Nights Schedule: 3x12, Days (7p-7a), Rotating Weekends $10,000 Sign-On Bonus available to well qualified applicants How You’ll Contribute Provides direct patient care to patients using the nursing process in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice. Performs plans of care intervention, including medication administration, specimen collection, and clinical treatments. Documents patient care given. Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition as appropriate to the care team, physician, patient, and family. Assists patients with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation. Collaborates across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including transfers, discharges, referrals, and spiritual/psychosocial support. Evaluates learning needs of patient and/or family and provides education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances. Works as an advocate for the physical and emotional well‑being of the patient. What We’re Looking For Certifications – Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Neonatal Resuscitation Provider (NRP) within 90 days of hire; Handle With Care (HWC) within 6 months; Basic Arrhythmia course within 90 days. Required Skills – Critical thinking, decisive judgment, ability to work under minimal supervision, perform in a stressful environment, and take appropriate action. Experience – One‑year previous experience preferred. Licenses – Authorized Registered Nurse with the State of Tennessee or a compact state RN with proper Tennessee paperwork filed within 30 days of hire.
