National Account Executive, Government

Becton Dickinson & Co

Indiana

Waters Advanced Diagnostics seeks a strategic National Account Executive to drive adoption of diagnostic solutions within federal healthcare organizations including the VA, DoD, IHS, NIH, and CDC. The role involves direct account leadership, distribution partner collaboration, and approximately 50% travel across designated regions.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic growth plans across assigned federal healthcare accounts
  • Build executive-level relationships with laboratory, procurement, and healthcare leadership stakeholders
  • Collaborate with distribution partners to identify and close federal opportunities
  • Navigate federal contracting and procurement processes to accelerate customer adoption
  • Support growth initiatives within state and local government healthcare organizations

Requirements

  • 7+ years sales experience in healthcare, diagnostics, medical devices, or laboratory products
  • Demonstrated success selling to Department of Veterans Affairs and Department of Defense
  • Proven track record exceeding revenue objectives in complex enterprise or government environments
  • Executive-level relationship management and strategic account planning experience
  • Knowledge of federal acquisition processes and government contracting pathways
  • Ability to engage with distribution partners and channel organizations
