• Shift: 24-hour hospital in-house call (7:00 AM – 7:00 AM); options for 12-hour shifts (additional compensation)

• Experience: High-risk obstetrics, Maternal-Fetal Medicine experience preferred

What You’ll Do:

• Provide high-risk obstetric care, including labor and delivery management
• Assist with cesarean sections and obstetrical procedures
• Co-manage complex cases alongside Maternal-Fetal Medicine specialists
• Respond to urgent OB needs and emergencies on the unit
• Support high-risk maternal and postpartum patients, including rare ECMO-level cases
• Collaborate with the OB team to deliver comprehensive care in a Level II nursery setting
• Participate in on-call coverage, ensuring round-the-clock patient care

What You Need:

• Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Minnesota license or IMLC (if no MN license)
• BLS certification
• Trauma I or II experience preferred
• Experience managing high-risk pregnancies and emergencies
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment

About the Assignment:
This position involves providing obstetric care at a busy hospital in Minneapolis, focusing on high-risk pregnancies managed primarily by maternal-fetal medicine specialists. The role covers labor and delivery, obstetric procedures, and urgent OB needs, supporting a predominantly high-risk patient population, with comprehensive in-house MFM support and a Level II nursery. The facility fosters collaborative teamwork across OB providers, ICU, and MFM teams, ensuring quality patient care and professional growth.
