Chief of Hematology Position | Chicago, IL

Our organization is conducting a nationwide search for a Board-Certified Hematologist to become a vital part of our esteemed team in Zion, IL. The Chief of Hematology will lead our Hematology department across clinical, research, and educational domains. We seek a highly respected physician with a collaborative leadership style who can enhance and expand our nationally recognized Hematology program. The ideal candidate will also possess operational expertise, business insight, and cultural awareness to navigate a complex, matrixed environment.

• Clinical Leadership: This role is focused on clinical leadership, and we highly value applicants with extensive experience in treating Lymphoid malignancies, Leukemias (both Chronic and Acute), or Plasma Cell Disorders (Myeloma).

• Reputation: The ideal candidate will be a distinguished Hematologist with a notable national reputation. Academic rank will align with the candidate's experience.

Competitive Compensation: We offer a highly competitive salary, signing bonus, relocation assistance, and performance-based incentives.

• Base Salary Range: $500K-$600K. This range represents the base salary for full-time employment and does not include incentive compensation or benefits. The final salary will be negotiable and based on factors such as experience, training, and community needs.

Qualifications:

• Board Certification: Must be Board Certified in Hematology.

• Clinical Experience: Experience in treating Lymphoid malignancies, Leukemias (Chronic and Acute), or Plasma Cell Disorders (Myeloma) is preferred.

• Licensure: Must possess or be eligible to obtain an Illinois Medical License prior to the start date.
