Make a meaningful impact by supporting students across an entire district as a full-time Occupational Therapist. This contract opportunity offers the chance to collaborate with educators and other professionals to empower students to reach their fullest potential. You’ll be providing vital therapy services, promoting functional independence and success in the academic environment.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree or higher in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Current OT licensure in the state or eligibility to obtain
- Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting is highly valued
- Familiarity with IEP processes and documentation
- Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services across multiple campuses within the district as assigned
- Conduct assessments, develop and implement individualized treatment plans, and track student progress
- Participate in IEP meetings and maintain accurate records in compliance with district and federal guidelines
- Consult with teachers, parents, and staff to integrate therapy goals into daily activities
- Provide direct, group, and consultative services as appropriate
- Adjust interventions based on evolving student needs and feedback from stakeholders
