An exciting contract-to-hire opportunity awaits for a dedicated Occupational Therapist seeking to make a meaningful impact within a school community for the 2026/2027 academic year. This role is ideal for those passionate about supporting students’ growth, enhancing their everyday skills, and collaborating in a multidisciplinary team environment.
Qualifications:
- Active Occupational Therapist license for Colorado required
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy required
- Previous experience working in school settings is a plus, but not mandatory
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt therapy approaches for individual student needs
- Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students
- Deliver occupational therapy services that help students access curriculum and school activities
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support students’ academic and functional success
- Maintain documentation of services provided and progress toward goals
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and provide expert input
- Contribute creative problem-solving and a caring approach to all interactions
