LOCATION: Schertz, TX

CONTEXT: As a Logistics   Dispatcher , you will play a crucial role in coordinating transportation operations, ensuring efficient communication between drivers and clients, and managing logistical challenges. This position requires strong organizational skills, effective phone etiquette, and a solid understanding of transportation planning and supply chain processes. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, possess excellent communication skills, and bring a solutions-oriented approach to daily logistics.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Dispatch drivers to various locations in a timely and efficient manner, providing clear directions, mapping support, and instructions.
• Monitor driver locations, route efficiency, and job progress to ensure on-time delivery and service compliance.
• Serve as the primary point of contact between clients, drivers, and field staff to maintain seamless operations and provide real-time updates.
• Utilize dispatch software, GPS tools, and internal systems to effectively manage schedules, plan routes, and organize documentation.
• Proactively resolve routing issues, delays, or logistical challenges promptly and professionally.
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date logs of all dispatch activities, driver hours, and operational metrics.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Proven experience as a dispatcher or in a similar logistics, coordination, or supply chain management role.
• Computer savvy with proficiency in dispatch systems, GPS tracking tools, and standard office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including professional phone etiquette. Bilingual proficiency (English/Spanish) is required.
• Solid understanding of transportation planning, routing optimization, and general supply chain processes.
• Strong multitasking abilities, sharp problem-solving skills, and the capacity to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
