About the Role
The Company is seeking a Senior Vice President of Schools to join its mission of providing holistic, inclusive support for students to achieve academic excellence and personal growth. The successful candidate will be a strategic, practice-driven leader responsible for overseeing principal and school performance, driving academic excellence, and scaling the organization's impact. This role involves directly managing and coaching a team of 8-10 Principals, ensuring the design and execution of rigorous, inclusive instructional programs, and maintaining the fidelity of practice to monitor progress and continuously improve. The SVP of Schools will also play a critical role in building leadership capacity across the network, developing and implementing a robust leadership coaching and development system, and ensuring that all schools have the necessary systems and structures in place to support student outcomes. Applicants for the Senior Vice President of Schools position at the company should have a Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred), at least 5 years of experience as a successful school principal, and a Tier 2 Administrative Credential. The role requires a proven track record in driving student achievement, experience across at least two school levels, and a strong alignment with the company's core values. The ideal candidate will be adept at team management, coaching, and development, and will be responsible for the oversight and management of compliance, communication, and cross-functional collaboration. Success in this role will be measured by increased student proficiency, reduced absenteeism, improved student belonging, and strong principal retention. Fluency in a second language, particularly Spanish, is desired but not required.
