Concrete Block Production Associate Location: Fishkill, NY Schedule: Monday–Friday: 6:00 AM – 5:00 PM Saturday: 6:00 AM – 12:00 PM Pay Rate: $20 per hour Employment Type: Temporary (potential temp-to-hire) A Day in the Life As dawn breaks in Fishkill, you’ll step onto the concrete block production floor ready to keep operations running smoothly. You’ll clear materials, stage supplies, and keep work areas orderly so production stays on pace. Throughout the day, you’ll move and stack CMU blocks (up to 50 lbs each), assist with material flow, and jump in where the production team needs support. When required, you’ll operate a forklift (experience preferred) and lend a hand with basic maintenance tasks under supervision. Above all, you’ll follow safety procedures and wear PPE, helping maintain a clean, hazard‑free plant. What You’ll Tackle Keep the plant and equipment areas clean, removing debris and maintaining housekeeping standards Lift, carry, move, and stack concrete blocks weighing up to 50 pounds Assist with material handling to support production needs and throughput Operate a forklift when needed (prior experience preferred; authorization required) Support simple maintenance or mechanical tasks under guidance Follow all safety rules and use required PPE at all times Maintain an organized, safe, and clutter‑free workspace What You Bring Stamina to perform continuous physical work, including repetitive lifting up to 50 pounds Comfort working in a manufacturing setting with heat, cold, dust, fumes, and loud noise Ability to stand for long periods; frequent gripping, grasping, and fine‑motor tasks Forklift experience is a plus; willingness and ability to become authorized to operate one Mechanical aptitude or experience assisting with maintenance is beneficial Safety‑first mindset and consistent use of PPE Reliability, punctuality, and availability for early mornings and Saturdays Team‑oriented attitude with the ability to work independently when needed Adherence to dress code: steel‑toe boots, jeans, and a solid‑color shirt Safety & Dress Code Hard hat Safety glasses Ear protection Gloves Employee‑Provided Attire Includes Steel‑toe boots Jeans Solid‑color shirt Ready to Get Started?
