About the Position

Job Title: Rad Tech Profession: Radiology Specialty: Radiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 18:30 - 07:00 Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: Minimum of 1 year in an acute care setting License: ARRT (R) preferred Certifications: BLS Must-Have: - Minimum of 6 months experience in an acute care setting as a Rad Tech - BLS & ARRT (R) Description: This is a travel Rad Tech position in a Radiology Diagnostic unit. The shift is from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM, working Friday through Sunday. The unit has a total of 304 beds and 22 staff members, including full-time, part-time, and PRN positions. Staff includes 3 evening shift techs and 1 night tech. The team works with various equipment, including GE x-ray, digital portables, OEC C-Arms, G-Arms, and O-Arms. The EMR used is Meditech. Candidates must possess self-motivation and a positive, outgoing attitude. Prior experience with trauma x-ray is preferred. Typical procedures include OR C-Arm experience, pain management, and fluoroscopy. Working in this environment allows for engagement in many recreational activities. Outdoor activities are abundant, as are sports teams, hiking, biking, and cultural venues. Great dining and shopping options are available in the area.
