Since 2008, Mana Resources has supported youth and adults throughout Idaho as they work toward greater independence, stability, recovery, and community integration. We began by supporting youth transitioning from foster care and juvenile corrections and have grown to provide a wide range of behavioral health and community-based services, including Community-Based Rehabilitative Services (CBRS), Counseling, Case Management, Medication Management, Residential Habilitation, Youth Mentoring, and Respite.

About the Position

Mana Resources is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and motivated Community-Based Rehabilitative Services (CBRS) Provider to join our behavioral health team in Canyon County.

The CBRS Provider delivers individualized, person-centered rehabilitative services in home and community settings based on the member's assessed needs, treatment goals, and authorized services.

CBRS is a skills-building and rehabilitation service, not simply a support or companionship service. Providers work directly with members to teach, practice, strengthen, and generalize skills that support improved functioning and recovery.

Services may address areas such as:

• Behavioral and emotional regulation
• Coping and symptom-management skills
• Communication skills
• Social and interpersonal skills
• Appropriate behavior and decision-making
• Activities of daily living and independent living skills
• Community integration and navigation
• Problem-solving and self-advocacy
• Relationship and conflict-management skills
• Other functional skills identified through assessment and the member's treatment plan

The goal is to help each member increase competency, confidence, independence, and functioning while supporting progress toward individualized treatment goals.

What You'll Do

• Provide individualized CBRS interventions in the member's home and community when clinically appropriate and authorized
• Implement skill-building interventions consistent with the member's treatment plan, assessment, and authorized services
• Teach and practice skills rather than simply completing tasks for the member
• Help members develop greater independence, confidence, and functional ability
• Support members in identifying and using healthy coping, communication, behavioral, and problem-solving strategies
• Assist members in practicing skills in real-life environments so they can generalize skills beyond the service setting
• Use person-centered, trauma-informed, recovery-oriented, and strengths-based approaches
• Monitor and document member progress toward established treatment goals
• Complete timely, accurate, and clinically appropriate service documentation in accordance with Medicaid, Magellan, Idaho Department of Health and Welfare, and Mana Resources requirements
• Communicate significant changes, concerns, barriers, or lack of progress to the appropriate supervisor or treatment team
• Coordinate appropriately with other members of the treatment team to promote continuity of care and avoid duplication of services
• Participate in treatment team meetings, Child and Family Team meetings, or other care coordination activities when appropriate and requested
• Maintain appropriate professional boundaries and protect member confidentiality and privacy
• Follow all applicable Medicaid, Magellan, IDHW, IDAPA, and Mana Resources policies and procedures
• Provide services only within the provider's qualifications, scope of practice, authorization, and assigned responsibilities
• Seek clinical/supervisory guidance when a member's needs exceed the provider's role or level of training

Required

• Bachelor's degree or higher from an appropriately accredited institution
• Ability to meet applicable Idaho Medicaid and Magellan qualifications for a CBRS specialist
• Ability to obtain and maintain the credential(s) required for the CBRS role
• Ability to participate in required clinical/supervisory protocols
• Ability to pass applicable Idaho Department of Health and Welfare background check requirements
• Valid driver's license
• Reliable, insured, and registered transportation
• Ability to provide services throughout the community
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to complete timely and accurate clinical/service documentation
• Ability to maintain professional boundaries and confidentiality
• Commitment to person-centered, trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and recovery-oriented care

Preferred

• Degree in psychology, social work, counseling, behavioral health, human services, rehabilitation, education, or another closely related field
• Previous experience providing behavioral health, psychiatric rehabilitation, case management, youth services, or other community-based services
• Experience working with individuals with serious mental illness, serious emotional disturbance, behavioral health needs, or complex support needs
• Experience working with children, adolescents, young adults, or adults
• Knowledge of psychiatric rehabilitation principles and skill-building approaches
• CPR/First Aid certification

Training and onboarding will be provided to support successful integration into the Mana Resources team and role.

Supervision & Professional Development

CBRS Providers work as part of an interdisciplinary behavioral health team and receive supervision and support consistent with applicable Idaho Medicaid, Magellan, credentialing, and Mana Resources requirements.

For providers practicing under a supervisory protocol, supervision will include the required ongoing review of services and treatment provided, including required one-to-one supervision.
