Relief Veterinarian

Job Description Job Description Seeking a relief Veterinarian for Fridays 8am-4:30pm and other days here and there as needed. This would be a subcontractor position, will need own insurance and W9. Will assist with getting this completed if needed. Responsibilities * Conduct thorough animal examinations focused on small animals (dogs, cats) * Prescribe and/or administer treatments and medications accurately * Communicate effectively with clients regarding their pets' health * Maintain detailed and accurate medical records * Perform diagnostic testing to support treatment decisions * Team player and positive attitude * NO on-call, weekends or holidays Required Qualifications * Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) * Valid veterinary license for WI * Minimum of 2 years' experience in veterinary medicine Preferred Qualifications * Proficiency in animal diagnostics and surgical assistance (laceration repair etc will be required PRN, NO SURGERY required otherwise) * Strong client communication skills * Skilled in medical record management and medication administration * Knowledge of species-specific care for small animals * Ability to collaborate effectively with veterinary teams * Sound decision-making and time management abilities
