Inpatient Adult Psychiatrist
Consumer Directed Services
Join a collaborative inpatient psychiatry team providing adult psychiatric services in a full-time role. Key Responsibilities Deliver psychiatric care for a 12-bed inpatient unit, supported by occupational and group therapists, social workers, and a dedicated insurance review team. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to manage patients' mental health needs and coordinate treatment plans. Participate in a regular Monday-Friday schedule with a 1:4 weekend call rotation, with opportunities for additional weekend shifts to increase income. Qualifications & Skills Board-certified or board-eligible in psychiatry with a valid Connecticut medical license. Experience preferred, but recent graduates with an interest in inpatient psychiatric care are encouraged to apply. Spanish-speaking candidates are encouraged to apply. Additional Details Supportive work environment promoting professional growth and work-life balance. Full medical and surgical support for non-psychiatric issues, including routine history and physical exams. Pre-employment drug testing required.
