Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with 2+ years of experience and at least one prior travel assignment for a weekend day shift contract.

Details

• Hospital-based CT scan unit
• Adult acute care and adult outpatient patient population
• CT procedures include abdomen, chest, and head scans (with and/or without contrast), musculoskeletal trauma imaging
• Equipment includes GE, Philips, Siemens, and Toshiba CT scanners, as well as PACS
• Friday shift: 8:00 AM – 8:30 PM; Saturday and Sunday shifts: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
• Schedule is 3x12-hour day shifts, Friday through Sunday only

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of CT Technologist experience
• Must have completed at least 1 prior travel assignment
• ARRT (R) certification required
• Current BLS required
• MD State License required — license required if applicable
• Proficiency with GE, Philips, Siemens, and Toshiba CT equipment and PACS
• Experience with abdomen, chest, and head CT scans (with and/or without contrast)
• Skilled in preparation and/or administration of contrast media
• Ability to start peripheral IVs
• Experience with musculoskeletal trauma imaging
• 2 professional supervisory references from within the past 2 years required for consideration
• Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration

Additional Information

• Perform CT imaging across a range of adult acute care and outpatient cases including abdomen, chest, head, and musculoskeletal trauma
