Employment Type: Full‑time

Setting: Outpatient musculoskeletal & non‑opioid pain management practice

Compensation: $140,000 base + performance bonuses + retention bonuses

Total earning potential: $150,000+

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Family Nurse Practitioner to join a growing outpatient pain management team. This role is ideal for a provider who thrives in an autonomous environment, enjoys procedural work, and wants to build long‑term expertise in musculoskeletal and regenerative medicine. You will manage your own patient panel, perform injection‑based treatments, and work closely with a physician and clinical support staff.

Key Responsibilities

Independently evaluate and manage patients with musculoskeletal and pain conditions

Develop treatment plans in collaboration with the supervising physician

Perform joint, bursa, trigger‑point, and other office‑based injection procedures

Utilize ultrasound guidance for injections when appropriate

Build and manage your own patient panel

Educate patients and communicate treatment options clearly and compassionately

Incorporate regenerative and orthobiologic treatments into practice

Work closely with, train, and support a Medical Assistant

Maintain efficient documentation and quickly learn clinical software

Required Qualifications

Active Rhode Island NP/APRN license in good standing

Active DEA registration

National board certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP)

Minimum 2 years of independent clinical experience (no new graduates)

Preferred Experience

Background in pain management, orthopedics, PM&R, sports medicine, urgent care, or musculoskeletal medicine

Prior hands‑on injection experience

Ultrasound‑guided injection experience (strong plus)

Comfort managing a full outpatient schedule independently

Experience supervising or training Medical Assistants

Strong interest in non‑opioid, non‑surgical pain management
