Joining a supportive network as part of a national team, you can expect to receive valuable training, guidance and genuine scope for career development.Your core responsibilities will include:Supporting the successful delivery of projects across the education, healthcare and heritage sectors, with values ranging from 5m to 250m.Preparing accurate cost estimates, bills of quantities, contract documentation and project reports.Building and maintaining strong client relationships, ensuring a high standard of service and successful project outcomes.Acting as a key point of contact for clients and taking responsibility for managing your own projects from inception to completion.Managing the day-to-day planning, programming and coordination of project activities.Ensuring compliance with all Health & Safety policies, procedures and best practices.Find out what it is like to work at Pick Everard here: Life at Pick Everard - Pick Everard.About YouOur ideal Cost Manager will have:A relevant qualification and/or demonstrable experience in Cost Management within a consultancy environment.Proven experience managing projects across the built environment, including feasibility studies, detailed cost planning, and both pre- and post-contract cost management.A thorough understanding of the principal standard forms of building contracts, including JCT and NEC.Experience of building and maintaining effective client relationships, with the confidence to liaise directly with stakeholders at all levels.Strong planning and organisational skills, with the ability to manage day-to-day project programming and priorities effectively.Excellent communication skills, including the ability to produce high-quality reports and deliver engaging project presentations.MRICS qualification and Chartered Surveyor status.A commitment to Continuing Professional Development (CPD) and maintaining professional standards.Unsure you tick every box?
