Job Summary

Our client is seeking a highly skilled Reimbursement Specialist to manage comprehensive follow-up and collection strategies for commercial, government, and patient accounts, ensuring optimal reimbursement cycles. This role requires careful investigation of claim denials and rejections, resolving complex payer issues, and liaising with stakeholders to provide exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute comprehensive follow-up and collection strategies to ensure optimal reimbursement cycles.
• Investigate and resolve claim denials and rejections, documenting all account activities.
• Monitor and report on collection trends and systemic bottlenecks.
• Act as a primary liaison between insurance carriers, patients, and internal departments.
• Maintain an up-to-date understanding of billing regulations to ensure compliance.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of diagnostic laboratory collections experience specializing in denials management.
• MUST have experience with XiFin.
• Understanding of other lab-related RCM systems preferred.
• Ability to work effectively in a remote setting.
• Experience with a mix of commercial and government payers.

Skills

• Technical skills with XiFin and other lab-related RCM systems.
• Soft skills in communication and stakeholder management.
