Part-Time Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) Location: Ventura, CA Pay: $55–$65 per hour (DOE) Schedule: Part-Time (1–2 days per week) Join Our Patient-Focused Dental Team Our established, modern private dental practice in Ventura is seeking a compassionate and dependable Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) to join our patient-centered team. Schedule Part-time: 1–2 days per week Mondays and Thursdays: 8:15 AM – 5:15 PM + Occasional Friday half-days Opportunity for future full-time employment Compensation & Benefits Competitive pay: $55–$65/hour , depending on experience Paid sick leave In-house dental benefits for employees and immediate family Potential 401(k) eligibility Continuing education and CPR renewal opportunities Responsibilities Perform comprehensive dental hygiene services, including: Prophylaxis Scaling and root planing (SRP) Gross debridement Ultrasonic and hand scaling Take digital dental radiographs and intraoral photographs Complete periodontal and restorative charting Maintain proper sterilization, infection control, and operatory turnover procedures Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventive care Communicate treatment needs and findings clearly with patients and the dental team Deliver compassionate care while helping patients feel comfortable and at ease Qualifications Required Current California Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license Current CPR/First Aid certification Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to provide compassionate care for patients with dental anxiety Professional, ethical, dependable, and team-oriented Willingness to learn and grow Preferred Previous dental hygiene experience Experience using diode lasers Familiarity with Dentrix practice management software and Dexis digital imaging Why Join Us?
