The Opportunity

As the Commercial Retaining Wall Foreman at DMS, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the installation of commercial retaining walls for our clients. Your expertise and leadership will ensure that our projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of skilled workers, providing clear directions and guidance throughout each project.
• Ensure that all activities are carried out safely, in compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
• Collaborate with the project manager to plan and organize resources, equipment, and materials needed for each job.
• Oversee the construction and installation of commercial retaining walls, ensuring accurate alignments and proper drainage systems.
• Maintain a clean and organized work site, minimizing disruptions to neighboring properties and the environment.
• Identify and resolve any issues or obstacles that may arise during construction, making adjustments as necessary to meet project specifications.
• Perform regular inspections and quality control checks to ensure all work meets or exceeds client expectations.
• Train and mentor new team members, providing guidance on industry best practices and safety protocols.
• Communicate effectively with clients, addressing any questions or concerns throughout the project.

FINAL COMPENSATION AMOUNT WILL BE BASED OFF OF LEVEL OF EXPERIENCE

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should have:

• At least 3 years of experience in commercial retaining wall construction, with a strong understanding of industry best practices and techniques.
• Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to effectively manage and motivate a team.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to make quick decisions while maintaining attention to detail.
• A strong commitment to safety protocols and creating a safe work environment for crew members, clients, and the public.
• Proficiency in operating and maintaining various construction equipment and tools.
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written, with the capacity to effectively collaborate with team members and clients.
• A valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
