AVP Treasury Operations

Leading Global European Banking Group active in a broad range of financial products including banking, capital markets, asset management, insurance, and private equity seeks an AVP – Treasury Operations with 5–10 years of related experience, preferably acquired within an International Bank, Money‑Center bank or Broker Dealer. The role supports Treasury Operations and Money Market activities across fixed income, funding, and derivative products in a control‑driven, regulatory‑focused environment. The AVP Treasury Operations position offers exposure to complex Treasury products, close interaction with Front Office, Risk, Finance, and Technology teams, and hands‑on involvement in system initiatives and industry‑wide messaging changes. Key Responsibilities Support daily Treasury Operations and Money Market activities, including transaction processing, trade settlement, reconciliation, cash management and operational controls Provide operational support for money market instruments, Repos, government and agency securities (GNMA, FNMA), corporate bonds, MBS, CLOs, and related funding activity Support derivatives operations including interest rate swaps, CDS, futures, caps, and floors Perform cash, position, and nostro reconciliations; investigate and resolve breaks in a timely manner Ensure accurate settlement processing via Fedwire, DTC, SWIFT, custodians, and clearing agents Partner with Front Office, Risk, Compliance, Finance, and Technology on issue resolution and daily workflow support Participate in system migrations, platform enhancements, and Treasury technology initiatives, including User Acceptance Testing (UAT) Support ISO 20022 messaging migration and related payment and settlement modernization initiatives Assist with procedure documentation, control reviews, and operational risk mitigation Support month‑end, quarter‑end, and regulatory reporting tied to Treasury and funding activity Familiarity with Treasury systems & platforms that include Summit, BONY, JP Morgan Paragon, SWIFT, Fedwire, DTC, Clearstream, Euroclear, CME, CBOE, LCH, LIFFE, MarkitSERV, Tradeweb, and Montran Qualifications 5–10 years of Treasury Operations clearing and processing experience within an International Bank, Money‑Center bank or Broker Dealer Strong working knowledge of money market products, Repos, securities, and derivatives Hands‑on experience supporting system migrations, UAT, and technology‑driven initiatives Excellent Salary, Bonus and Benefits including Pension Plan Our client, a well‑managed global Banking and Finance institution, has a history of rewarding employees with growth, opportunity, and stability.
