Position Overview
\nOur client, a top-tier professional services organization ($3B+ in revenue), is seeking an HRIS Director to join their team in New York, NY. This opportunity involves setting HR systems strategy, leading the full lifecycle of system implementations, and managing the firm's existing HR technology portfolio. You'll play a key role in the upcoming Workday implementation across all modules, overseeing a broad suite of HR systems and evaluating emerging technologies, including AI and automation. This role serves as a trusted advisor to HR leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
\n \nKey Responsibilities

- Lead the upcoming HRIS implementation end to end, from vendor evaluation and configuration through testing, change management, and go-live \n
- Oversee the firm's full suite of HR systems, including applicant tracking, performance management, time and attendance, and global cloud HRIS \n
- Evaluate and pilot AI, automation, and emerging technologies for HR applications, with appropriate attention to data privacy, security, and responsible use \n
- Partner closely with the Director of Compensation to advance reporting, analytics, and data-driven decision-making across the HR function \n
- Establish and maintain data governance standards that ensure data quality, consistency, and security across all HR systems \n
- Drive adoption and smooth transitions for end users through effective change management \n
- Build strong relationships across IT, Finance, Benefits, and other stakeholders to align HR technology with broader firm objectives \n
Qualifications
\n- \n
- 8+ years of HRIS/people systems experience \n
- Experience working in a large corporate or professional services environment (1,000+ employees) \n
- Experience implementing and managing HRIS platforms \n
- Experience leading at least one major Workday implementation \n
- Experience working across several Workday modules, including HCM, Benefits, Compensation, Recruiting, Reporting, Security, and Business Process Framework \n
- Workday HCM integration experience required \n
- Experience with Greenhouse (ATS) and Taleo preferred \n
- Bachelor's Degree required; advanced degree preferred \n
