Contract | 16-Week Assignment | Night Shift | 3x12-Hour Shifts (18:45–07:15) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical/Telemetry unit with a target ratio of 1:6
• Perform continuous cardiac monitoring, including interpretation of dysrhythmias , and participate in Rapid Response and Code team activations
• Administer blood products, manage central and peripheral lines, and start and maintain IVs
• Provide respiratory support including nasal cannula and non-invasive airway management
• Adhere to isolation precautions and proper PPE protocols
• Float to all areas holding Med-Surg patients as needed; every other weekend shift required

Required Qualifications

• Active NC RN license or valid Compact RN license (pending licensure acceptable at time of submission)
• Minimum 2 years of Medical Surgical/Telemetry nursing experience required
• BCLS certification required
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required
• Must pass EKG competency testing prior to start
• Strong Med-Surg background required; must be willing to float to Med-Surg patient areas
• Local candidates are welcome; a modified rate applies for candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Telemetry unit experience
• Experience with management of dysrhythmias
• OCN certification
• Chemotherapy administration experience
