Full Charge BookkeeperCasago Coastal North Carolina is seeking a Full Charge Bookkeeper for Surf City/ Wilmington, NC. Reporting directly to the Director of Accounting and the ownership group, you'll own the day-to-day accuracy of our books, keep cash flow and vendor payments on track, support payroll and budgeting, and serve as a trusted partner to our external accounting team through audit and tax season. If you love the satisfaction of a clean close, take pride in airtight records, and want real ownership over a growing multi-entity portfolio, this role is built for you.Key Responsibilities:Manage full-cycle bookkeeping: AP, bank and credit card reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end closeMaintain accurate financial records in QuickBooks Online (QBO)Process expenses and manage corporate card transactions via RampPrepare financial statements and reports for management and ownershipAssist with payroll processing and vendor/1099 managementSupport budgeting, cash flow tracking, and light financial analysisEnsure compliance with company policies and standard accounting practicesMaintain organized, audit-ready financial documentationHelp gather documentation for year-end accounting review and tax preparationIdentify and implement improvements to accounting processes and internal controlsSupport system enhancements and operational efficiencies as the company growsContribute to special projects and cross-functional initiativesRequired Qualifications:4+ years of bookkeeping/accounting experienceMust have QuickBooks Online / QBO ProAdvisor certificationHands-on experience using RampStrong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas)High attention to detail and strong organizational skillsAbility to work independently and manage deadlinesPreferred Qualifications:Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fieldExperience supporting a small business or multi-entity environmentCompensation, Benefits & Schedule:Hourly Rate $23.50 - $27.50 per hourBonus Up to 10% based on performanceBenefitsPaid time off such as PTO, sick days, and vacation daysHealth, Dental & Vision insuranceRetirement benefits or accountsScheduleMonday - Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:30 PMReliable, in-office presence required (Holden Beach or Surf City, NC location)
