About the Role
The Company is in search of a Vice President of Operations and Manufacturing to oversee and direct the operations of its six manufacturing facilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring productivity, quality, safety, and profitability across the enterprise. This executive will lead the implementation of advanced manufacturing methods, Lean and continuous improvement initiatives, and EH&S programs. The role demands a seasoned leader with a proven track record in driving operational performance, meeting customer standards, and expanding market share. The Vice President will also be tasked with strategic planning, P&L ownership, and leading the team in executing operational strategies, including for acquisition targets. Applicants for the Vice President of Operations and Manufacturing position at the company must have a strong technical or engineering background, with an undergraduate degree in a related discipline. An MBA or advanced degree is a plus. The ideal candidate will have at least 15 years of overall business experience, with a minimum of 10 years in senior leadership roles within manufacturing operations and continuous improvement. A hands-on approach and a willingness to travel are essential. The role requires a leader who can drive best practices, is well-versed in continuous improvement methodologies, and has a history of managing substantial P&L responsibility. The candidate should be adept at data-driven decision-making, integrating technology, and be capable of leading a multi-site, multi-business environment.
