Urgent Care Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner

UCSF Health and GoHealth Urgent Care have partnered in 2024 to provide top‑quality urgent care at GoHealth’s 15 Bay Area locations. The partnership brings patients greater access to innovative care through state‑of‑the‑art technology and unique patient‑access tools, such as online registration and patient scheduling. Job Summary We are seeking experienced Physician Assistants or Nurse Practitioners with urgent care or emergency room experience who can treat both adult and pediatric patients (ages 6 months and up). Positions are available on full‑time, part‑time or per‑diem (PRN) schedules. Key Responsibilities Treat adult and pediatric patients (all ages, 6 months and older) Perform minor procedures (sutures, casts, splints, etc.) Provide preliminary reads of EKGs and X‑rays Make diagnoses and prescribe appropriate treatments and medications Collaborate with a dedicated scribe, on‑site radiology technicians, and medical assistants Work in state‑of‑the‑art centers equipped with advanced technology, including an integrated EPIC EMR Focus exclusively on urgent care medicine (no primary care, DOT or occupational medicine duties) Benefits and Perks Competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package as an employee of UCSF Health, including commuter and relocation benefits, ample time‑off options, yearly CME allowance for eligible full‑time and part‑time, benefit‑eligible roles, and a competitive bonus structure (quarterly bonus up to 10% of base pay and daily volume bonus at busier centers).
