Title: RBT Behavior Support Team

Qualifications:

1. Hold the Registered Behavior Technician certification (RBT) based on the BACB requirements.
2. Have 1 year experience working in a school setting as an RBT.
3. Experience providing behavior analysis services to people with disabilities.

Reports To: Separate Programs Administration


Job Summary: Provide school based behavioral services to students in multiple programs. Duties include supporting behavior specialist with training teachers and staff, completing skills assessments and functional behavior assessments, developing interventions, and collecting and monitoring data. ?

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Administrative Skills: All ABA duties to be supervised by BCBA, BCaBA, or Behavior Specialist.
2. Complete observations for functional behavior assessments.
3. Trainers for CPI, TACT2 and Ukeru as assigned.
4. Ability to answer clarifying questions about behavior change procedures.
5. Ensure data collection fidelity and maintaining graphs up to date.
6. Monitoring behavior change programs and data collection for fidelity.
7. Assist classroom teachers and Behavior Specialist with skill assessments including the VB-MAPP (Verbal Behavior Milestones Assessment and Placement Program Kits) and Essentials for Living or other related skills assessments.
8. Support with developing interventions and materials needed for behavior change procedures.
9. Train teachers and paraprofessionals on ABA based teaching methods and specific programs.
10. Develops data sheets and data analysis systems.
11. Work collaboratively with team including behavior specialist, speech language pathologist, occupational therapist, teacher, counselor, and paraprofessionals.
12. Provide materials as necessary to classrooms to implement teaching protocols.
13. Provide community trainings with the BCBA.
14. Organizes and prioritizes time and works independently.
15. Writes clear and concise reports.
16. Train others in writing compliant reports.
17. First responders for crisis response.
18. Leads and supports PBIS team and other building level committees.
19. Shows ability to manage a variety of roles and duties.
20. Completes supervision with BCaBA or BCBA as required by the BACB.
21. Keep ups to date and follows BACB requirements to remain certified.

Evaluation: This position will be evaluated in accordance with the above listed responsibilities and with board policy on personnel evaluations.

Salary, Working Time, Vacation, Etc.: This position shall be 1.0 FTE, 179 days per year, based on school calendar.


Working Conditions:

• Talking and hearing, walking, standing or bending is frequently required
• Reaching with hands and arms, climbing or balancing, stooping or kneeling is also required
• The employee must occasionally lift and/or move objects up to 25 pounds
• All required license(s) must be maintained in an active status without suspension or revocation throughout employment.
• Any employee may be required to stay at or return to work during meetings and/or emergencies to perform duties specific to this classification or to perform other duties as requested in an assigned position. This may require working a non-traditional work schedule or working outside normal assigned duties during the meeting and/or emergency.
• TACT2 certification required ability to perform all TACT2 holds and transport positions.
