Job Title

Registered Nurse - Progressive Care (IMC/PCU/Stepdown)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a 28-bed PCU/IMCU setting with a cardiac-focused population
• Manage patients presenting with STEMI, NSTEMI, chest pain, and cardiothoracic surgery conditions
• Administer and monitor cardiac drips including Milrinone, Dobutamine, and vasopressors
• Maintain patient ratios of 1:3–4 in accordance with unit standards
• Flex to telemetry beds within the same unit to manage lower-acuity patients as needed

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
• Minimum 2 years of PCU or IMC/Stepdown experience in a similarly sized facility
• Documented PCU experience reflected in work history
• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience caring for cardiac populations including post-STEMI and cardiothoracic surgery patients
• Familiarity with vasoactive and inotropic drip management in a progressive care environment
• Prior telemetry nursing experience
