Registered Nurse - CVOR

Job Overview Saint Luke’s Hospital of Kansas City is hiring an operating room nurse for the cardiac operating videoort (CVOR) team. This full‑time day position includes call with a 30‑minute response time and offers a dynamic environment focused on forward‑thinking cardiac procedures, including vascular, thoracic, open heart, and heart transplant surgeries. Responsibilities Circulate the OR during all major cardiac procedures. Function independently and manage the entire nursing process. Coordinate care for patients with the multidisciplinary team. Delegate tasks appropriately, identify hospital resources, and serve as a clinical resource for new employees. Demonstrate positive leadership within the unit or department. Advocate for patients, maintaining a patient‑centered approach and speaking up within scope of practice. Qualifications Minimum of 2 years experience as a registered nurse (MO) with a National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NURSYS) credential. Associate Degree in Nursing. Strong attention to detail, flexibility, and willingness to go above and beyond for patients, families, and peers. Ability to stay positive in a fast‑paced, unpredictable, changing environment.
