Registered Nurse Cvicu

Role: The Registered Nurse (RN) provides high-quality, patient-centered care in a 10-bed CVICU within a Level 2 Trauma Center, collaborating with medical teams to deliver individualized treatment plans. Performs procedures, monitors patient status, and documents care accurately. Educates patients, families, and caregivers about medical conditions, treatments, medications, and lifestyle modifications. Manages evidence-based practices and participates in quality improvement initiatives to enhance care outcomes. Acts as an advocate for patients, ensuring compassionate, holistic care aligned with standards and organizational values. Coordinates with multidisciplinary teams to promote recovery and prepare patients for self-management. Qualifications & Skills Graduate from an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN). Active RN license in applicable state(s); BLS required; ACLS within 3 months. Minimum of 1 year hospital experience, preferably in cardiac or acute care. Key Duties: Deliver safe, efficient care using advanced technology and resources, participate in clinical education, and support continuous improvement efforts.
