Dental Assistant

General Overview

Schedule:

Monday: 7:45am-5:00pm. 1 Hour lunch.

Tuesday: 7:45am-5:00pm. 1 Hour lunch.

Wednesday: 7:45am-5:00pm. 1 Hour lunch.


Thursday 6:45am-3pm (no lunch)

Friday: 8am-12pm (no lunch)


Responsibilities

As part of our team you will be responsible for the following (not limited to):

• Welcome patients and get them situated in the appropriate treatment room.
• Assist the doctor in providing care to the patient.
• Be knowledgeable of existing and emerging technologies and clinical initiatives that impact the back-office experience.
• Actively monitor lab materials and supplies.
• Develop a relationship with the patient.
• Ability to perform digital xrays
• Follow all OSHA/HIPAA guidelines.
• Clean and sterilize instruments and prepare treatment rooms as needed.
• Take, expose, and mount high quality dental radiographs.
• Contribute to the team in achieving business objectives to accomplish goals.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for patients and team.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience working as a Dental Assistant required
• Knowledge of dental terminology and general chairside experience
• High school diploma or GED.
• Other certifications as required by the state, as an example: Radiology Certification, CPR, Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) or Registered Dental Assistant in Extended Functions (RDAEF), etc.
• Experience with Dental Softwares as Denticon, is preferred.
