Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough and ongoing assessments of clients to evaluate their mental health needs and develop tailored treatment plans.

• Facilitate open communication between supervisors, direct care staff, clients, and their families to ensure an effective support network is in place.
\n
• Schedule appointments, home visits, and observations to monitor client progress, ensuring treatment plans are effectively executed.
\n
• Coordinate essential home visits to perform in-home assessments, review charts, conduct staff interviews, and analyze data.
\n
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to collaboratively evaluate case management strategies and enhance client care.
\n
• Document monthly and quarterly progress notes, maintaining accurate and comprehensive client records.
\n
• Organize training sessions to certify staff in the implementation of treatment programs and proper documentation techniques.
\n
• Provision of follow-up assessments and observations to offer continued support tailored to the evolving needs of each client.
\n
• Serve as a liaison between clients, their families, and the greater mental health community to develop and support individual treatment goals.
\n
• Assist in formulating procedural training materials aimed at optimizing program outcomes for clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work with a diverse range of clients, including children, adolescents, and adults. Your expertise in addressing various mental health issues will enable you to tailor your approach based on the unique needs and circumstances of each individual you serve. Your focus on building rapport and trust with clients ensures you can provide them with the compassionate care they need to succeed on their mental health journey.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required; however, a Masters or Doctoral degree is highly preferred.

• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in Nevada is mandatory.

• A minimum of 2 years of counseling experience is essential, ideally within a clinical setting.
\n
• Strong preference for candidates who specialize in family therapy, couples therapy, substance abuse, or trauma counseling.
\n
• Deep understanding of legal and ethical standards within the mental health profession.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, enabling the establishment of meaningful connections with clients.
\n
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
\n
• Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) software and related technologies is crucial for maintaining accurate client documentation.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience in specialized areas of counseling, including but not limited to trauma-informed care and substance misuse, will enhance your effectiveness in this role.

• Prior experience working with a diverse client population, particularly within community health settings, is strongly preferred.

• Training or certification in evidence-based therapeutic modalities is advantageous.
