Work Environment This position allows for remote work, providing flexibility while maintaining key interactions with the multidisciplinary team. You will work standard office hours from 9 AM to 6 PM, Monday through Friday, with no evening or weekend shifts, preserving work-life balance for all team members. Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough mental health assessments, developing individualized treatment plans based on the specific needs and goals of each client. Manage and maintain an active caseload, providing ongoing psychotherapy and counseling services to clients of varying ages and backgrounds. Engage in crisis intervention when necessary, offering immediate support to clients facing mental health emergencies. Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary primary care team, sharing important insights and recommendations to optimize overall patient care. Ensure compliance with all relevant mental health policies and procedures, fostering a safe and supportive environment for both clients and staff. Maintain accurate and confidential electronic patient records, utilizing our integrated healthcare systems. Identify clients needing specialized care or inpatient services and coordinate appropriate referrals to external agencies or institutions. Screen clients for substance abuse issues, providing necessary counseling or referring to available community resources. Patient Population / Client Focus The LCSW will primarily work with a diverse client population, each facing unique mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders. Strong crisis intervention and mature judgment skills, with the ability to navigate both clinical and interpersonal challenges effectively. Experience working within a culturally diverse environment is highly valued. Preferred Experience A minimum of two years of clinical experience working in a community health or outpatient setting.
