Key Responsibilities\n \n Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments of children's developmental needs through standardized testing and observational techniques. \n Actively participate in the development and implementation of Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSP) by collaborating with families and interdisciplinary team members. \n Monitor child and family outcomes regularly, adjusting services as needed to align with developmental progress and family priorities. \n Work directly with families to provide guidance, support, and education on strategies that enhance their child's development. \n Implement evidence-based practices and the Natural Learning Environment approach to encourage natural skill acquisition. \n Maintain compliance with all Federal and State regulations related to social work practices and child developmental support. \n Build and nurture rapport with children and families, creating a supportive and healthy environment conducive to learning and development. \n Utilize a coaching model to facilitate learning for both the child and the family within their natural environment. \n Ensure the health and safety of all individuals we serve by adhering to strict standards and protocols. \n Patient Population / Client Focus\n The LCSW will primarily support children under three years of age who exhibit developmental delays or disabilities. This role focuses on empowering families through education and advocacy, encouraging a child-focused approach that equips parents and caregivers with the tools they need to promote their child's growth. By creating supportive relationships, the LCSW significantly contributes to long-term, positive outcomes for children in our care. Qualifications\n \n A Master’s Degree or Doctorate in Social Work is required. \n Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) by the Department of Public Health. \n A valid driver's license is required for potential travel to family homes as needed. \n Demonstrated ability to cater to diverse learning styles in the development of individualized treatment plans for children. \n Exceptional organization, time management skills, and strong communication abilities are essential. \n Commitment to fostering a respectful and collaborative environment within a multi-disciplinary team. \n Preferred Experience\n \n At least one year of experience working in early intervention services for children with developmental delays. \n Experience advocating for family-centered practices, with an emphasis on the Natural Learning Environment framework. \n Bilingual candidates are strongly encouraged to apply, enhancing communication and rapport with diverse families. \n Compensation and Benefits\n This role offers a competitive salary range of $75,000 to $80,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
