Job Description:
Seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to support the design, development, verification, and sustaining activities of electronic medical devices. The ideal candidate will have strong medical device product development experience with Design Controls, IEC 60601-1, embedded firmware/electronics, and verification testing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as a technical lead for electronic medical device product development and end-of-life activities.
• Support design updates, sustaining engineering, and improvements to existing products.
• Develop solutions for technical issues associated with current electronic product designs.
• Define and support design verification and product testing activities.
• Coordinate with suppliers, contractors, Operations, and cross-functional engineering teams.
• Support electronic medical equipment involving embedded firmware.
• Apply Design of Experiments (DOE), Statistical Process Control (SPC), and other engineering tools.
• Support product changes while maintaining functionality, safety, and regulatory compliance.
• Provide guidance to team members on Medical Device Design Controls.
• Maintain appropriate technical and Design Control documentation.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Technology; Electrical Engineering preferred.
• 5 10 years of design and/or product development experience within the Medical Device industry.
• Strong hands-on experience with Medical Device Design Controls.
• Knowledge of FDA 21 CFR 820.30 and applicable quality requirements.
• Working knowledge of IEC 60601-1 for medical electrical equipment.
• Experience developing and verifying electronic medical equipment with embedded firmware.
• Experience with design verification, product testing, and technical problem-solving.
• Strong cross-functional communication and collaboration skills.
