Job Description

Duties

• You will implement and execute daily oversight controls for reviewing, evaluating, and measuring of assigned projects/programs.
• You will ensure funds are available and properly/efficiently used to support program objectives
• You will reconcile problem disbarments and other related issues.
• You will lead the development, organization, analysis, execution and monitoring of planned requirements at the project level.
• You will participate in budget formulation and cost estimating to support established plans, programs, objectives, and activities, including: presenting and defending budget estimates.

• This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Functional Area and Tier assigned to the position, along with Continuous Learning (CL) points, are required within established timeframes.
• This is a Financial Management Level 02 certified position per the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) 2012, Section 1599d. You must achieve this level within prescribed timelines. Certification requirements are in DoD Instruction 1300.26.
• This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NH-02 pay band (or GS-11 equivalency) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector providing support to financial and business operations, budget formulation, planning, execution, and communications with other functional areas of the program.
