Hand + Physical Therapy NYC is a therapist owned and operated specialty practice focusing on the treatment health and wellness of the entire person. We believe that each patient should have the hands-on attention and care they deserve with one to one treatment sessions. We value our therapists who work in a collaborative team with other experienced OTs PTs and CHTs and other wellness professionals, and who see no more than 1-2 patients per hour.

Hand + Physical Therapy NYC has a Per Diem / Part Time opportunity for an experienced Physical Therapist to join and expand our therapy team within New York City. We have a great opportunity for a Physical Therapist looking to make their mark in a specialty outpatient practice that works in close rapport with prestigious local orthopedic surgeons! Work with an accomplished team of clinicians that have an excellent reputation among patients and referring physicians. This is an excellent opportunity for growth towards a Clinic Director position.

Summary
Ideal candidate will perform responsibilities under general and direct supervision of Owner. They will provide exceptional therapeutic patient care and grow to manage the overall leadership and operation of the clinic location. Ideal candidate will perform the following responsibilities and provide exceptional therapeutic patient care.

Education and or Experience:

• Proven exceptional customer service and patient care experience
• Self-motivated with the willingness to exceed patient expectations
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude
• Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapist curriculum
• Proof of licensure as a Physical Therapist in NY
• 3-5 years Physical Therapy experience, preferably in outpatient care

Physical Therapist responsibilities include:

• Assessing patients’ strengths and weaknesses.
• Devising creative treatment plans for individuals suffering from injuries or muscle, nerve, joint and bone diseases.
• Provide excellent 1:1 care for your patients.
• Helping patients restore function, relieve pain, and prevent disability.
• Encouraging patients along the road to recovery.
• General orthopedic outpatient caseload, adolescents to adults
