QA Automation EngineerGenesis10 is currently seeking a QA Automation Engineer for a hybrid position (3 days onsite) with a Global Financial Institution located in Addison, TX. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.As a QA Automation Engineer, you will support the testing of multiple initiatives. This role is responsible for owning initiative QA support, coordinating end-to-end testing, addressing issues, and managing communication between developers, clients, and management. A key focus will be on building agentic solutions for QA using advanced Java and Python skills.Responsibilities:Own QA support for various initiativesCoordinate end-to-end testing and address any issues that ariseDevelop testing status reportsManage risk and facilitate communication between developers, clients, and managementBuild agentic solutions for QA using company AI solutionsRequirements:Advanced level proficiency in Java & PythonMinimum 3+ years of hands-on experience with RAFT and UFT (QTP) test automation toolsProven ability to develop automated UFT/QTP test scripts from scratch and enhance, maintain, and troubleshoot existing automation frameworks and scriptsMinimum 3+ years of API testing experience, including both REST and SOAP web servicesHands-on experience using SOAPUI and Postman for API validation, test execution, debugging, and automated testingMinimum 3+ years of experience writing Oracle SQL queries, including data validation, test data analysis, and backend verification activitiesStrong understanding of database concepts and the ability to validate application functionality through direct database analysisDesired skills:Hands-on experience working with XML, XSD, and JSON data formatsStrong experience in backend testing, including file processing, message queues (MQs), and integration testingProven ability to analyze and troubleshoot production and test failures using Windows server logs and SplunkExperience developing and maintaining VBA macrosExperience working within Agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc)Ability to quickly learn and understand complex business requirements, systems, and technical architecturesStrong ownership mindset with the ability to coordinate work end-to-endExcellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skillsPay range: $50.45 - $58.45 per hourOnly candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.If you have the described qualifications and are interested in this exciting opportunity, please apply!
