Your day kicks off with the sunrise, conducting field audits, ensuring safety standards are met, and empowering our workforce. Your role is a dynamic blend of strategic safety initiatives, inspections, and fostering an environment where everyone thrives securely. Whether it's educating our teams, investigating incidents, or maintaining meticulous records, you're the guardian of our safety legacy.
WHAT IT TAKES TO BE SUCCESSFUL AS A SAFETY MANAGER:
- A Bachelor's degree in health and safety or a related field
- Certification as a Safety Professional (CSP) or equivalent licensure
- 2+ years of experience in the oil and gas industry
- Familiarity with safety software and tools
- A strong understanding of federal, state, and city safety requirements
- Previous leadership experience
