Physical Therapist
Location: Havertown, PA
Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule: Flexible schedule, Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
Job Description: The Physical Therapist will provide high-quality rehabilitative care within a long-term acute care hospital setting. The role includes assessing patient needs, developing treatment plans, and implementing therapeutic interventions aimed at improving physical function and overall quality of life.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments of patients.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address patient needs.
- Administer treatment interventions and modalities as appropriate.
- Monitor and document patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary.
- Educate patients and families regarding rehabilitation programs and home exercise plans.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
- Must be a licensed Physical Therapist in Pennsylvania.
- Clinical experience in an inpatient or long-term acute care setting preferred.
