Document Scanning Specialist

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented professional to join our team. This role involves operating scanners and ensuring the quality and accuracy of scanned documents. The position requires significant data input and a high rate of keystrokes. The candidate must be presentable and appropriate for the working environment. This position has the potential to transition from temporary to permanent.

Responsibilities

• Scanning: Move prepped cartons to scanner positions, load sheets into scanners, and return sheets to the box in the same order as received. This task is primarily seated but may require standing 20% of the time.
• Quality Control: Confirm the accuracy of scanned documents. This is primarily a seated task and constitutes 10% of the position.
• Release/Index: Document files and release scanned material to customers. This is primarily a seated task and constitutes 10% of the position.

Essential Functions

• Operate, clean, and troubleshoot scanners.
• Operate a computer for data input.

Qualifications

• Service Contract Act applicable.
• Must be a US Person to meet ITAR regulations.
• Public Trust Clearance is required.
• BI Exception applies to this requisition.

Work Schedule

Normal work schedule is 5 days a week, 9 hours a day, including a 30-minute lunch and two 15-minute breaks. Evening and third shifts may be required depending on assignment.
