The Original Pancake House is seeking a friendly and enthusiastic Weekend Only Host/Cashier to join our vibrant team. As a host, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, setting the tone for an exceptional dining experience. • Greet and welcome guests as they enter the restaurant, ensuring a warm and friendly atmosphere.
• Manage the waitlist and seating arrangements efficiently to minimize guest wait times.
• Provide menus and inform guests of daily specials to enhance their dining experience.
• Answer phone calls and manage reservations, taking accurate messages when needed.
• Process Guests' orders accurately using the register, handling cash and credit card transactions.
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house area, including the waiting area and menus.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers to ensure timely service.
• Handle guest inquiries and complaints with professionalism and courtesy.
• Assist with taking orders and serving food and beverages as needed, fostering teamwork with fellow staff members.
• Support other staff in various tasks during busy periods, contributing to a smooth dining experience.
• Pack online orders according to brand standards and have ready before drivers come

**Qualifications:**

• Previous experience in a restaurant or customer service role preferred, but not required.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a friendly and outgoing personality.
• Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic math skills for handling cash and processing payments.
• Reliable and punctual, with a commitment to showing up for scheduled shifts.
• Must be available to work weekends, including Saturdays and Sundays.
