Technical Business Analyst/System Analyst — MarTech (Braze / Snowflake / Paid Media)

Partner with marketing, CRM, loyalty, and digital teams to gather, document, and translate business requirements into detailed technical specifications for campaign, audience, and data initiatives. Serve as the functional and technical liaison between Client’s's MarTech team and the Braze, Snowflake, Google Ads, and Meta Ads platforms. Analyze and document customer data flows between Snowflake (CDP) and Braze to support segmentation, personalization, and cross-channel orchestration. Support audience builds, segmentation logic, and data mapping requirements for Braze campaigns across push, email, SMS, and in-app channels. Collaborate with data engineering to define data feeds, schemas, and integration requirements between Snowflake and downstream MarTech and ad platforms. Document current-state and future-state process flows, data lineage, and system integration diagrams for MarTech initiatives. Write clear user stories, functional requirements, and acceptance criteria for platform enhancements and campaign builds. Support user acceptance testing (UAT) for new Braze campaigns, Snowflake data models, and platform integrations. Analyze campaign performance and audience match rates across Google Ads and Meta Ads to identify data quality or integration issues. Facilitate workshops and meetings with cross-functional stakeholders (Marketing, IT, Data/Analytics) to align on requirements and priorities. Maintain documentation such as SOPs, data dictionaries, and process runbooks for MarTech systems and workflows. Identify and recommend opportunities to improve MarTech processes, data quality, and campaign execution efficiency. Required Qualifications 5–8+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Technical Business Analyst, or similar role, including at least 2–3 years focused on MarTech/AdTech ecosystems. Hands-on experience with Braze or a comparable customer engagement platform (e.g., Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Iterable, Adobe Campaign, Responsys). Working knowledge of Snowflake or another cloud data warehouse/CDP (e.g., Segment, Tealium, mParticle), including data modeling concepts. Experience working with paid/social advertising platforms such as Google Ads and Meta Ads Manager, including audience syncs, conversion tracking, and offline event uploads. Strong SQL skills for data validation, querying, and troubleshooting. Proven experience gathering and documenting business/technical requirements (user stories, BRDs, functional specifications). Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery environments using tools such as JIRA and Confluence. Solid understanding of customer data concepts: identity resolution, segmentation, audience match rates, and data privacy/consent management. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for business audiences and vice versa. Retail or omnichannel retail industry experience strongly preferred. Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Preferred Qualifications Experience with additional MarTech/CDP tools such as Adobe Experience Platform, Segment, or Tealium. Familiarity with ETL/data pipeline tools such as Fivetran, dbt, or Airflow. Experience supporting loyalty or CRM programs in a retail environment. Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Looker, or Power BI.
