Business Systems Analyst

Business Systems AnalystWe are looking for a Business Systems Analyst to be part of the Retail Liquidity development team of our client. You will provide technical leadership and work in close partnership with business and technology partners, project teams and stakeholders to plan, elicit, analyze, document, communicate and manage detailed functional specifications and test plans. As part of this role, you'll also provide expert advice, research, analysis and design of test plans, related strategies and test processes that are appropriate to the application, solution, project and/or business unit and develop test strategies for highly complex and multi-faceted projects.Responsibilities include:Transform business requirements and research into winning delivery solutions that meet performance goals.Participate in complex applications and systems development.Propose solution options and generate stakeholder support.Collaborate with stakeholders on project estimates.Produce top-notch functional, technical, and user interface designs.Take business, Enterprise Architecture, system performance, and development standards requirements, then develop functional, technical, user interface designs, and test plans for an application and/or system.Coordinate testing and release planning and support with partners (e.g., business, Infrastructure).Coordinate code deployments, maintenance upgrades, and project testing across numerous environments on various technology platforms.Contribute to project management activities such as scoping and estimating project efforts, identifying risks, and recommending mitigation measures.Review technical deliverables for quality throughout the detailed design and development phase, identify gaps or redesign as needed.Define metrics and performance goals with technology partners and peers.Adhere to strong technology delivery practices and standards, project management disciplines, business technology architecture, and risk and production capacity – this includes thorough project requirements, documentation, scope estimates, and costs.Identify ways to minimize costs, play a role in introducing strategic solutions to support cost-effectiveness and enhance stakeholder experience.Identify and address any issue that affects the integrity of the application (e.g., cross-capability/release issues).Provide technical support to promptly resolve escalated incidents/outages.Coach colleagues and act as a reference for the software development life cycle.Qualifications:Undergraduate Degree thought a Master's degree is preferredSolid hands-on SQL programming experience on SQL Server 2012 or aboveCommitment to applying advanced to expert knowledge of business technology delivery practices and standards and related expertise, including design, development, testing, and project managementAdvanced to expert knowledge of system analysis process and techniques, as well as system components, functionality, interfaces, data flows, and business rulesProficiency in developing test strategies for highly complex and multi-faceted projectsAbility to advise on testable software builds, test data/environment/configuration/defect management, test asset controlTalent in identifying risks both within and across projects and recommending ways to mitigate themStrength at managing and directing activities related to analysis, design, testing, deployment, and support of technical business solutions on larger projectsExpert knowledge of QA methodology, best practices, and processesSound knowledge of external industry trends in relation to competencyExperience and comfort level acting as a subject matter expert and consultantStrength in coaching and advising clients, partners, and project teamsCommitment to and belief in the quality of your deliverablesJob Description: Banking, Capital Markets, Treasury Liquidity, Retail Liquidity, Wholesale Liquidity, Liquidity Risk, FR 2052a Reporting, OSFI liquidity, Basel III Liquidity, Intraday Liquidity Stress Testing (ILST), RLAP, RLEN, Liquidity Coverage Ratio (LCR), Net Stable Funding Ratio (NSFR), Business Requirements Document, Functional Specifications, Data Mapping, Data Analysis
